The Serra da Estrela provides a privileged snow scenery in winter - unique in mainland Portugal; while at other times of the year, the existing scenery creates a fantastic framework of colour, natural elements and exceptional environmental conditions.

The landscape, the pure air, the rurality, the culture and traditional customs, the gastronomy, the handicraft, the typical localities, the monumentality of the region and the traditional hospitality of the Beira region all stand out.

The Pousada offers accommodation in gender-specific dormitories as well as in private twin rooms. The dormitories have access to a shared bathroom, while the twin rooms have a private bathroom. Free WiFi access is available.

Guests can prepare their own meals using the communal kitchen and buy snacks and drinks from the vending machines available on site, as well as visit the numerous restaurants within 10 km. Many of the restaurants offer traditional Portuguese dishes.

Guests can go hiking or cycling to explore the area. The Natural Park features a vast animal and plant life, several picnic spots and hiking trails.
